Who is trending up in fantasy women’s basketball? Which rotations are changing? What’s the latest with the notable injuries around the WNBA?

Here’s a look around the league at the most fantasy-relevant news and notes for all 12 teams.

Atlanta Dream

Having averaged 29.5 fantasy points per game this season, Rhyne Howard has had an outstanding rookie season for fantasy managers. She was named Rookie of the Month for the second consecutive month, the league announced Tuesday. Howard has averaged 15.3 PPG and 2.7 APG, which leads all rookies in both stats. In addition, she was selected as one of the 12 reserves for the All-Star Game. Aari McDonald, available in 57.4% of leagues and averaging 22.7 fantasy points over her last four games, is a good streamer to consider.

Chicago Sky

Sky coach James Wade has been named WNBA Coach of the Month, the league announced Tuesday. Chicago went 9-2 in June and is ranked first in the Eastern Conference. Kahleah Copper has led the way for the Sky, putting up 15 PPG, 5.9 RPG and 2.1 APG while shooting 46.8% from the field during that time frame. Considering her average draft position, she has been an excellent fantasy value this season.

Connecticut Sun

Alyssa Thomas has scored 20 points in each of the past two games. So far this season, she has had four such games. During her last full season in 2020, Thomas had six 20-point games. This season, she has averaged 29.9 fantasy points per game and exceeded expectations for fantasy managers. Don’t overlook Natisha Hiedeman if you need a streamer. She has played 30 or more minutes in five consecutive games.

Dallas Wings

With 250 career 3-pointers made, Arike Ogunbowale is the third fastest in WNBA history to achieve this milestone, trailing only Diana Taurasi and Katie Smith. Ogunbowale has averaged 31.5 fantasy points per game this season. Teaira McCowan is still available in 36.6% of leagues if you’re looking for a streamer. She has scored 26 or more fantasy points in three of her last five games.

Indiana Fever

In accordance with the league’s health and safety protocols, Queen Egbo will be out for the foreseeable future as she isolates herself from the team. One player who benefits from her absence is rookie Emily Engstler, who’s available in 75% of leagues. She’s averaged 17.6 fantasy points per game during the last three games.

Las Vegas Aces

The Aces lead the league with an offensive rating of 106.4. However, Las Vegas’ defense has been up on down all season. The Aces currently rank sixth in defensive rating (100.2), and Las Vegas’ most recent game against the Minnesota Lynx was the second time they’ve allowed 100 or more points in a game in 2022. This is the first time the Aces have allowed opponents to score 100 points or more more than once in a single season.

Los Angeles Sparks

Nneka Ogwumike has scored 20 or more points in nine games this season. This is tied for the fourth most in the league. On top of that, she has had five straight games with 32 or more fantasy points. Jordin Canada, who’s available in 73.6% of leagues, continues to be a viable streamer. Over the last two games she’s exceeded 33 minutes and 20 fantasy points.

Minnesota Lynx

Since returning from a five-game absence due to a knee injury, Sylvia Fowles has played limited minutes. And that continues to be something to watch closely. Fowles has averaged 20.6 minutes and 23.1 fantasy points over the last six games. Moriah Jefferson is still available in 42.6% of leagues for those in need of a streamer. She has scored 30 or more fantasy points three of her last four games.

New York Liberty

Stefanie Dolson (available in 77.3% of leagues) continues to play well for the Liberty. During the past four games she’s averaged 27.5 minutes and 21.7 fantasy points per game. Meanwhile, Sabrina Ionescu continues to make history. She has had 26 career games with 10 points, five assists and five rebounds. This surpasses Swin Cash for the most by a player in her first three seasons in league history.

Phoenix Mercury

Sophie Cunningham, who’s available in 80.5% of leagues, has had five consecutive games with 23 or more fantasy points. If you need a streamer don’t overlook her. It is also worth mentioning that Skylar Diggins-Smith (1,358) recently passed Tangela Smith for the eighth most points in Mercury franchise history.

Seattle Storm

As the Storm’s newest member, Tina Charles has garnered a great deal of attention, but don’t overlook Gabby Williams, who is available in 70% of leagues. Since Charles’ arrival four games ago, Williams has averaged 20.5 minutes and 19.5 fantasy points per game. She is capable of delivering well rounded stat lines for managers, even with Charles on the team.

Washington Mystics

Elena Delle Donne has averaged 28.3 fantasy points per game this season and continues to receive scheduled rest days. In fact, she has yet to play more than three consecutive games. As a team, the Mystics are 3-6 when Delle Donne misses games and 10-4 when she plays. Alysha Clark, who is available in 50% of fantasy leagues, benefits whenever Delle Donne misses time.
