Former Fortis Healthcare Promoter Bail Request Rejected By Supreme Court

The Supreme Court said Shivinder Mohan Singh was a flight risk

New Delhi:

The interim bail plea of former Fortis Healthcare promoter Shivinder Mohan Singh, who is facing charges in a money laundering case related to alleged misappropriation of funds at Religare Finvest Limited (RFL), has been rejected by the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court, taking note of the “serious allegations” and Mr Singh being a “flight risk”, rejected the plea.

The Delhi High Court had refused bail to Mr Singh, who had then moved the Supreme Court against the High Court order.
