An artist on Twitter is surprising foodies with his canvas paintings of popular foods that we consume every day. His latest rendition features a classic combination – peanut butter and jelly sandwich with a glass of milk. These amazing canvasses are making Twitter foodies drool. Take a look:
Noah Verrier is the name of the artist who has made these incredible creations. “My oil painting of a PBJ & glass of Milk,” he wrote in the caption. His tweet has raked in over 142k likes and 12.4k retweets since it was posted, and the numbers are only growing. Verrier is a former art professor and a full-time artist and has also won numerous awards for his creations, as per the description on his website. Verrier says that he likes to observe quietly for his paintings of discern colour and light. “What I enjoy most is working from life,” reads his bio.
Twitter users have also been pouring in their appreciation for the life-like paintings of food. “Your painting literally makes my stomach growl,” said one user while another added, “I appreciate both the art and the sandwich.” “Hang this in the Louvre,” requested another Twitter user while one wrote, “THIS is what oil painting should be! Keep it up my man!”
